Ji Feng Chinese Orchestra was formed in 1974. It is a cultural group under the administration of Chua Chu Kang Community Club.

Since its formation, Ji Feng Chinese Orchestra has been actively involved in the promotion of Chinese music. Besides presenting regular concerts, the orchestra has often been invited to participate in the various musical activities organised by the National Arts Council. It was also often invited to accompany dance and drama performances. Ji Feng was twice invited to accompany the staging of International Tai Ji performances.

Over the years, Ji Feng has been awarded with various honours. These include four-time winner of the first prize in the National Competition of Chinese Orchestra between 1987 and 1993; National Youth Achievement Award in l996, etc.

Ji Feng Chinese Orchestra has also been invited to perform in Hong Kong, Sarawak, ThaiIand, China (Chengdu), etc. Last year, it was invited to accompany the choral singing at the Singapore Choral Festival.
