Jiao Jiao, an experienced and popular movie actress in Hong Kong over the past 30 years, was born in Hebei, China, and grew up in Taiwan. She received her training in theatre and drama from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Taiwan and subsequently moved to Hong Kong to start her acting career in the 1970's, having performed in numerous motion pictures. On top of her successful acting career, Jiao Jiao has also been a successful TV presenter for magazine programmes in Hong Kong and more recently in Singapore. She and her husband Zeng Jiang (a veteran actor in both movies and television serials) migrated to Singapore in 1994 and are now citizens of the Republic.
